Case Studies

We have supplied, erected and altered cuplock scaffolding for B&D Roofing at Teviot Museum, Edinburgh. The client is also Edinburgh University. This project was in need of scaffolding services to access the roof and windows to carry out masonry work. This commercial project went ahead pretty quickly for us. We managed to accommodate a pretty last-minute call out from B&D Roofing. We provided, delivered and erected the scaffolding. The scaffolding began on the 10th July 2023 and took 4 members of staff 5 days to complete. The masonry project is still ongoing and is expected to be completed, along with the dismantling of the scaffolding, by November 2023.

We’re currently in the middle of a commercial project in Edinburgh’s Salamander Street for B&D Roofing. This project began on 5th October and is expected to last six weeks. The scaffolding was erected on the front elevation of the building by four members of staff over one and a half days.

The scaffolding was needed for repair work to the high-level balcony which was linked to damp problems. The scaffolding was supplied, delivered and erected by Direct Scaffolding.
