High scaffolding around tall stone building

CASE STUDY: WARE ROAD, NORTH BERWICK

We recently loaded up the lorries in the yard and delivered, supplied, erected, dismantled and cleared our scaffolding from Ware Road, North Berwick, Scotland. This commercial project involved an end-to-end new build house construction. The scaffolding was required for sixteen weeks to allow joinery, bricklaying, masonry, roof and decoration work. This scaffolding was erected in cuplock to all elevations of the building and included two inside boards to allow a safe platform for the joiners, bricklayers and roofers to work on. This scaffolding was completed in one and a half days via a three-man squad and handed over to the client by our advanced scaffolding inspector.

CASE STUDY: HOPE COTTAGE, DUNS ROAD, GIFFORD

This scaffolding was erected by a three-man team. The materials were transferred by a Hiab lorry from our yard in Loanhead, 11 Eldin Ind Est. The scaffolding was erected on the 15th July 2023 and was required for twelve weeks. It needed to be in place for masonry work – namely scarping out and re-pointing work - to all elevations. The scaffolding was also used for roof work and the repair and rebuilding of three chimneys. It was erected in three days and the planning needed to account for the transport of scaffolding materials suitable for three different trades as well as a pavement permit from East Lothian Council. The scaffolding had to be erected on a narrow pavement with the bottom level above head height to allow public access.

CASE STUDY: TEMPLATE MAINS STEADING, INNERWICK, DUNBAR, SCOTLAND

This commercial project took off at great speed due to a quick turnaround from our client. The scaffolding was required for new build work involving all trades. The scaffolding was delivered via our Hiab lorry and erected by a three-man team. The scaffolding allowed for internal ladder access, hop-ups for all trades to use and a loading bay to transport materials onto the scaffolding and save manual handling. This project started on Monday 19th September 2022 and finally came to an end on 25th April 2023, due to a delay in material supply for the project. We were more than happy to extend the scaffold hire to allow works to proceed and finish to a tight schedule.
